Exquisite, one-of-a-kind, LAYSHO; few of the many beautiful words to describe Richmonde Hotel Iloilo. The way it encapsulated the innate hospitality of the Ilonggos is definitely one of the major reasons why I should always go back.

My beautiful room in Richmonde Hotel Iloilo

It's actually my second time in Iloilo. The first time was in 2007 where we only dropped by to start our 5-hour track to Caticlan.  Although this is the second, I felt that it was only in this time that I got to fully experience the whole place.

Megaworld, I believe, has always been in the forefront of giving us distinct quality townships that proficiently balance all the essential components of our life; live, work, play, shop, dine etc. What makes me believe in its existence even more is that of how it merges the place's culture, tradition and identity - to where it is built and to where it is located. This time, in Iloilo - The Megaworld Iloilo Business Park.

Celebrating its 3rd Year Anniversary, I am nothing short of mesmerized at how  Richmonde Hotel Iloilo continually evolves as a basis of a high class hotel - that gives nothing less of a genuine Ilonggo hospitality. The consistency of its hotel services, design form and function, amenities, food and location; All I can say is that it is true to its word. In Richmonde, life is definitely rich!

From the moment I entered down to the moment I left, I felt that it was instilled in each of the hotel staffs the innate responsibility to make their guests feel at home. I was very excited the moment I stepped in, inside my room. I had a view of the prestigious township, I had a room with excellent furnishings and there's nothing more I could ask for. I was totally home.

So I took a shower, rested for a few hours and enjoyed everything there is inside - just so I could prepare myself to experience the whole of Megaworld's Iloilo township.

There was something more.

And I was not wrong.

Just a few steps away from the hotel is where the Festive Mall Iloilo is located. Few steps away to achieve this pose. Just kidding. But more than ever, a very beautiful hotel, in a prestigious location with just few steps away from the mall is something others can't achieve. A point of Ilonggo hospitality that connects another point of another festive representation of Iloilo is just beyond convenient.

One of my favorite attractions inside the mall was the Colorverse. It's a place where you can have your photos taken with extraordinary backdrops. Animations, Light Manipulations and such, it was something millenials should look forward to in going to the said mall. Definitely IG worthy! But more than anything else, Festive Mall Iloilo is a center fit for any lifestyle!

One of the many favorites I had in the entire tour was going to ILOMOCA (Iloilo Museum Of Contemporary Arts).

Not every one knows that I am deeply fascinated with arts and knowing that Megaworld offers this is something that I should always be proud of. It's just entirely refreshing to have townships made by Megaworld make waves in promoting the value of arts in our lives.

Mind you, this is just a few blocks away from Richmonde Hotel and strolling towards ILOMOCA will give you a view of what to expect soon - as the Megaworld Iloilo Business Park is developing more establishments and government offices within its township.

I ended my day in the arms of the beautiful sunset view. Yes. Richmonde Hotel gives you the perfect view of the beautiful Iloilo sunset. The whole tour was quite long but it was definitely worth it.

P.S Turned out that I got sick on the last day of tour but major thanks to the Richmonde Hotel Iloilo's medical team for aiding me. It was something beyond commendable. Everything was fast and I was healed the moment I took my flight back to Cebu. More than ever, the Ilonggo hospitality was on my side every inch of the days I was in Iloilo. So you guys, if you're sick on the days you're in here, you don't have to worry because Richmonde's got every reason why life is definitely rich!

As of the moment I'm writing this blog post, I'm still a little bit sepanx of everyone. Megaworld gave us nothing short of genuine laughter and merrymaking. If only I could extend time. But I'm sure this is not the last time.

See you again. xoxo <3
